About the Firm
Since 1986, the law firm of Blish &
Cavanagh LLP has been providing high quality legal services to clients
throughout southern New England. The goal of its founders, John H. Blish
and Joseph V. Cavanagh, Jr., was to maintain a trial law practice that
would offer clients the very best representation in an efficient manner
for fair fees. The firm also believes that each client should have prompt
access to and direct contact with the lawyer handling his or her matter.
With those goals in mind, the firm has successfully established itself as
one of the premier litigation firms in the region.
Blish & Cavanagh attorneys have successfully handled cases in
federal and state trial and appellate courts in Rhode Island,
Massachusetts and Connecticut. Our firm has represented clients of all
sizes in a variety of matters ranging from corporate and commercial
litigation to personal injury, malpractice and libel cases.
In recent years and in response to clients’ needs, Blish &
Cavanagh has grown and expanded its legal services and is now providing
